Claudia is active in the community with service organizations, civic groups, and volunteer service. The many organizations she belongs to include the Extra Point Club, Tallahassee Regional Estate Planning Association, Economic Club of Tallahassee, GFWC Capital City Woman’s Club, GFWC Tallahassee Woman's Club, Capital Women’s Network of Tallahassee, Zonta Club of Tallahassee, and the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of Florida.
Claudia was honored by being inducted into the 2020 class of the “25 Women You Need to Know” by the Tallahassee Democrat. Now in its 16th year, the 25 Women Program is the Tallahassee Democrat’s way of honoring women who lead.
Originally from California, Claudia enjoys spending her time reading, cooking, and traveling. She is married to Walter T. Sachs, Regional Managing Director with the Department of Children and Families.
